Sarah, an orphan, finally gets adopted, but her new family, the Ragons, come with a chilling secret. Pulled into a hidden world of supernatural beings and ancient conflicts, she discovers her own dormant powers and a terrifying truth about her identity. Will she survive the war brewing between demons, vampires, and werewolves, or become a casualty in a battle she never knew existed?

Sarah stood outside the small bungalow, an orphanage she’d called home for years, her arms crossed nervously behind her back. A black vintage car, unnoticed until now, glided to a halt in front of her. The back door opened, and a tall, handsome man, impeccably dressed in a black suit, stepped out.

"Good morning ladies!" he greeted, with a slight bow. "Call me James. I was sent by the Ragon family to pick up Sarah Ragon."

Sarah's lips twitched at the unfamiliar last name. She was annoyed that a representative had been sent, not her new parents. After a quick goodbye to Aunt Linda, Sarah climbed into the car, her only bag a large pink one.

"Aren't you too young to be a Butler?" she asked James, who sat opposite her, his face expressionless. Before he could answer, the car screeched to a halt. A black Benz sports car had cut them off.

"You smell them, Zeke?" James smirked.

"Yes boss. Those filthy dog enemies of ours… werewolves."

Sarah's eyes widened. As James stepped out, he glanced back at her, his eyes glowing a deep, terrifying red. "By the way," he said, his voice chillingly calm, "I'm two centuries old."
