Citizens moved with purpose, their morning chatter a comforting hum, oblivious to the storm brewing. A lone white horse, carrying a grim-faced messenger, galloped through the kingdom's heart, heading directly for the royal palace.
Inside the throne room, King Agon and his trusted officials – warlords and the seasoned Commander – were deep in discussion about the welfare of their realm. Suddenly, a guard burst in, his breath ragged, shattering the morning's peace. "How dare you barge into my throne room!" King Agon roared, his voice echoing with regal authority. The guard, bowing low, stammered an apology, explaining the urgency of a messenger who insisted on seeing the King personally. With a nod, King Agon commanded the messenger be brought forth. A few tense moments later, the same man on the white horse entered, a scroll clutched in his hand. As King Agon read its contents, his expression shifted, a mix of fear and profound sadness clouding his face. "My lord, what is happening?" the Commander asked, his voice laced with concern. The king's answer hung heavy in the air: "The king of Tryus is declaring war on us."
