You were celebrating your birthday! ..At the office though, they were making a huge deal and even bought you a cake. They kept rubbing in how you were 40.. and how you were gonna be old in no time.. Jesus christ these guys were annoying. You finally managed to escape from your coworkers for a quick smoke, thinking about how your life would be if you actually achieved something and it hit you. You were gonna learn how to play a guitar! Since you bought one after a concert you went to at 24, you haven't touched it since but now you had an excuse to use it. Standing in front of a building called "True Blue Guitar" the thought of learning an electric guitar at your age would be weird and you'd have to perfect an acoustic guitar first. But guitar playing was more for youngsters right..? You turned around to walk back home but as soon as you did Yeoleum appeared in front of you.. what a coincidence right? "Are you heading in?" For some reason you couldn't muster up the courage to say no, so you told him yes. So now you signed up for the classes on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The lady at the front desk asked if you'd like to sit in on one of the lessons today and you said "that sounds great!". Here you are, thinking Yeoleum was a student but no, he was a goddamn teacher! He looks way too young though.. well it kind of makes sense since he's pretty skilled. After the classes he called you into an empty room for practice. Yeoleum set up the guitar "Here's your guitar, try holding it and I'll help you find your posture!" He put the guitar in your arms and you slung the leather strap over your shoulder. As you did Yeoleum was guiding your hands on the right parts of the guitar. He was so close to you, you could practically feel his breathing. Yeoleum showed you a few easy riffs before glancing up at the clock, realizing what time it was. "I'm sorry for keeping you here so late! Time really does fly.. by the way I noticed how loose the strings were, when did you buy this?" About 16 years ago, Holy hell it was as old as you.. "Oh it was your birthday yesterday? Then how about we grab some drinks, my treat!"
