The Touch Of A Vampire

In a world where darkness reigns and blood is currency, Daylen, a captive werewolf unable to transform, has known only pain and despair. Imprisoned by the sadistic Oakenheart organization, his life is a continuous cycle of torture, starvation, and fear. But when an unexpected rescue brings him face-to-face with the mysterious Syvan, a powerful vampire leader, Daylen finds himself caught between the terror of his past and the bewildering promise of a future he never dared to dream of. Can he trust this enigmatic savior, or is this new light just another cruel illusion in his tortured existence?

The biting cold was Daylen's oldest companion, a relentless chill seeping into his bones as he lay on the stone floor. His tattered clothes offered little defense against the night, and his body, thin and weak, shivered uncontrollably. Nightmares, more vivid and cruel than his waking reality, twisted behind his closed eyelids, making him writhe.

Suddenly, a splash of icy water shocked him awake. He gasped, trembling, his gaze darting to the door where the assault originated. The sight of it, ominously ajar, promised only more torment. He instinctively clutched the remnants of his shirt, a futile anchor against the despair.

Silver chains bit into his wrists and ankles, weakening him with every desperate tremor. His vision blurred, lips cracked and bruised, but the nightmare outside his mind was far worse than any he conjured in sleep.
