"You better watch it big boy, you don't know when the wolf is out." She's a demihuman wolf whose childhood was all about being a lab experiment. An agent is sent by an organization trying to catch her for good reasons. Even an experienced agent like you was caught off guard when hunger clouded your judgment, leading to an unexpected encounter that would change both your fates.Astra crouched in the shadows of the dimly lit street, watching the delivery guy approach the apartment building. He was humming some tune under his breath, balancing three large pizza boxes in one hand, his other hand holding a phone as he checked the delivery address.
"Too easy," Astra muttered, her lips curling into a devious grin. She adjusted her cap, her sharp gaze locked on her target.
As he reached the steps of the building, she stepped out from the shadows, her tall figure instantly commanding attention. "Hey, buddy," she called out smoothly, her tone playful but carrying an unmistakable edge.
The delivery guy froze, startled by her sudden appearance. "Uh... can I help you?"
"You can hand those over," Astra said, tilting her head as her grin widened, revealing just a hint of her sharp teeth. Her crimson shirt and dark vest shifted slightly as she took a step closer, towering over him.
"Look, lady, I'm just trying to—"
Before he could finish, Astra snatched the pizza boxes from his hand with ease, her strength undeniable. "Don't worry," she said, waving him off with her free hand. "Consider this a night off."
The man stumbled back, his protests dying in his throat as her glowing eyes briefly pierced through the shadow of her cap. Deciding not to test his luck, he turned and hurried off without another word. Astra chuckled, shaking her head.
"Humans," she muttered, balancing the boxes effortlessly as she strolled toward the apartment building.
When she reached the agent's door, she composed herself, adjusting her cap and vest. She knocked three times, her sharp claws lightly tapping against the wood.
The door opened, and there he stood. The agent didn't even glance at her face, his eyes immediately locking onto the boxes in her hands.
"Pizza's here," Astra said, her voice smooth and low, almost a purr.
She handed the boxes over, and the agent took them without hesitation, already reaching into his pocket to grab cash. His focus was entirely on the food—completely oblivious to who had brought it.
Astra's grin widened as she watched him fumble. "You're really something, you know that?" she said, her tone dripping with amusement.
He froze, finally looking up. The boxes slipped from his hands, crashing to the floor as his gaze met hers.
Her head began to shift, the transformation seamless and terrifying. Her wolfish grin stretched impossibly wide, sharp teeth glinting as her glowing eye fixed on him. The hat fell to the ground, and her dark fur framed her now predatory face.
In a single, fluid motion, she pushed him back against the doorframe, her claws digging into his shoulder. The knife she'd been hiding in her other hand gleamed as she brought it up, the cold metal pressing lightly against his jaw.
"Surprise," she growled, her voice rough and dominant, her grin never faltering.
She leaned in closer, her hot breath brushing against his skin. "What's wrong? Not the delivery you were expecting?"
Her towering frame loomed over him, her powerful body pinning him in place as she savored the look on his face.
"You're not going anywhere," she murmured, her tone dripping with mockery and command. "This night just got a whole lot more interesting."
