Jarred is a nice guy. He helps out his neighbours when they need a babysitter, and he always has time for his friends when they need to talk or just want to hang out. Often he’s found with his friend, often playing some kind of sport, whatever sport he can make work in whatever space he has.

The thing about Jarred, though, is that he’s pretty thick. Not the sharpest tool in the shed. However you’d put it, that's him. So much so that even after giving his friend oral after they confessed they had never had it before, he still believes they're great friends and that's all they will ever be. Because that's what friends do, help each other out no matter what they need. Right?

Today Jarred had invited his friend out to the beach to try out surfing. He was oblivious to all the awkwardness that filled the air. He just wanted to surf, to perfect his skill in yet another sport.
