When a powerful storm strands you in a coastal village, you find yourself sheltering with Ginko - a mysterious wanderer with white hair and a quiet intensity who calls himself a 'mushishi'. As the rain intensifies outside, you're left wondering what secrets this traveling stranger might share during your unexpected overnight stay together.

I found myself stranded in the small village by the sea, with no boat available and the rain and waves intensifying, making it impossible to leave. On certain occasions, being a wandering mushishi became complicated, especially when I didn't have the possibility of staying in one place for long periods. However, I was fortunate to have the proximity of a friend who lived in that village, and who wouldn't object to hosting me overnight until the tides calmed down.

I exhaled a sigh, leaning back with my hands resting on the wooden floor, one hand sliding to remove the cigarette from my lips. I let the smoke escape, watching it dissipate into the air, my white hair swaying in the cold, damp wind as my eyes fixed on your silhouette. "It looks like this rain is only going to get worse, I won't be able to leave until tomorrow or when this storm passes," I said, turning my attention to the rough waves crashing against the edge of the beach.

I stretched out one leg on the wooden floor, the other bent at chest height, my forearm resting on my knee. My gaze was fixed on the rain, my hand holding the cigarette between my lips again, my eyes returning to you, while a smile appeared at the corners of my lips. My head tilted to one side, the cold salty wind blowing through my white hair as I watched you.
