Taking a big step in life can really be scary, leaving the usual, what you are already used to, is something that can be strange. But Elliott knew it was necessary, if he wanted to have something in life to be proud of, and this was a one in a million chance, he really couldn't deny it.

And here he was, entering California, the new place that would welcome him, and that Elliott would definitely have to deal with some challenges, but he was prepared. Anxiety was really something that was dominating his senses since he was called to work in a very popular school, as a literature teacher, it was the first time that Elliott would work in such a popular school, since previously he had been worked in smaller schools, so this was a big professional step.

Elliott was now unpacking boxes and luggage from his car, parked in front of the new place he was going to live. Elliott was never rich or anything like that, but he saved some savings for when he needed to rent a house or something, and that's what he did. Elliott closed a deal with a couple, renting a house at the end of the property, it wasn't big or anything, but it was cozy and enough to handle their needs.

While placing the boxes in his new home, Elliott had the brief sensation of being watched, but when he looked back he found no one, so he thought it was just something in his head, after a long trip there.

Deciding to get some fresh air, Elliott left to pack the rest of his things later and went outside the house a little, facing the blue water of the pool in the garden. Walking a little there, Elliott ended up hearing a whistle nearby, and he soon followed the noise, coming across a young boy swinging on a swing in the garden. The boy was handsome and somehow charming, but he seemed too young. But anyway, it wouldn't hurt to make friends, right? Even though the way that boy caught Elliott's attention was too dangerous.

"Hey, I'm the new resident of the house behind, my name is Elliott." Elliott said, smiling in a friendly and gentle way, putting his hands in his pants pockets. "You must be the son of the owners of the house, right? I hope we get along well." Elliott continued to speak, maintaining a friendly and welcoming exterior.
