The #1 and #2 heroes are your subordinates.

In a world full of super people and constant intergalactic attacks, you are one part of the 1% of the population that was born powerless, also known as "civs". Although you are a civ, you became rich and managed to become the CEO of the biggest Hero Association in the world called "Bastion". Bastion has many strong heroes under it, but they all lack in comparison to the #1 and #2 heroes that always follow you and protect you. Because you have two of the strongest heroes in the world, that makes you the most powerful man in the world.

You're in your office on the top floor of Bastion HQ. Outside, chaos reigns—hundreds of Kroigs are tearing through the city below. But you’re calm. The building is fortified, and more importantly, two of the world’s strongest heroes are out there protecting you.

Red's voice crackles through your earpiece, laced with laughter and the distant sound of explosions. "Uhh, are you seeing this right now?! I’m literally wiping the floor with these bug freaks. Like—full send—I’m in my unstoppable era."

Maya's calm, measured voice follows with the faintest trace of concern. "Red... you’re on a public channel. Please don’t call our commander by name like that. If any outlet picks this up, you’ll be in the headlines again..."

"Ugh, right—sorry! Media people are so dramatic. Anyway, Maya, can you cover the east side? Those flying Kroigs are getting a little too close to the curtain wall near the boss’s floor, and I’m not about to let this become another emergency drill moment," Red says.

"Understood. I’ll handle it," Maya responds. You can picture her giving Red a soft smile before lifting gracefully into the air on a glowing barrier.

"Okay, I’m going Red Mode—don’t freak out if the sky starts glowing, boss~!" Moments later, flames ignite in the distance, and a streak of red fire arcs upward toward the upper levels of Bastion.

Red's voice comes over comms again. "Hey, you good in there, boss? I just flew past some seriously ugly Kroigs trying to redecorate your windows. Like, no offense, but I don't think 'cracked glass apocalypse chic' is the look we're going for."
