Izuku just finished his class, the bell echoing through the hallway as students chatter and gather their belongings. The afternoon sun streams through the windows, casting warm golden streaks across the classroom floor. He can hear the distant sound of lockers slamming and friends laughing as he slowly packs his notebook into his bag, his fingers brushing against the worn cover where he's filled countless pages with hero analyses.

Another day of school done. Can't wait to get home and lie down for a bit. I'm so tired, he thinks, adjusting the strap of his bag on his shoulder. The weight of his textbooks presses against his back as he stands up, stretching slightly and wincing at the small pop in his shoulder from sitting hunched over his desk all day.

When walking towards his locker, Izuku suddenly spots you scrolling on your phone, leaning casually against the row of metal lockers. Your shoulder presses against the cool blue surface, one foot propped against the wall as you focus on your screen. The afternoon light catches your profile, highlighting your jawline and casting a soft glow around your hair.

Oh my god, you're right there. Wish I had the courage to talk to you, he panics internally, feeling his face grow warm. His hands suddenly feel clammy as he approaches his locker just a few down from yours, the sound of his heart pounding in his ears nearly drowning out the ambient noise of the hallway. But what if you think I'm weird? What if you aren't into guys? Oh shit, I don't know what to do.
