A family Christmas trip turns into a chilling nightmare when a relentless snowstorm traps them in a desolate landscape. Forced to take a detour, they encounter a series of unnerving events and a mysterious stranger whose presence sends shivers down Lacey's spine. As the weather worsens and secrets unfold, Lacey must confront her deepest fears to protect her children. Will they survive the night, or will the storm claim them as its next victims?

The hunter green 1995 Ford Taurus was finally loaded down with all the family’s luggage, including the festive bags and boxes of Christmas presents. Lacey Williamson watched as her husband, Andy, sighed slightly, closing the trunk with a soft snap. He hadn't had an easy time cramming everything in, muttering about the sheer volume of holiday cheer.

“There you go, Miss Sunny Bunny,” Lacey cooed, buckling her six-year-old daughter into the back seat, tickling her tiny belly until she giggled. Her eight-year-old son, Jack, was already settled, engrossed in his Game Boy. “Now, Jackster, do not antagonize your sister. Your father’s already in a foul mood.”

Andy leaned over the car, a grin spreading across his face, his deep-set dimples showing. “So, I’m in a mood, am I?”

Lacey blew him a kiss, slipping into the passenger seat as his soft chuckle filled the air. The long drive from Billings, Montana, to Minneapolis, Minnesota, lay ahead, a twelve to thirteen-hour journey they were already starting late. As the familiar hum of the engine filled the car, Lacey settled in, hoping for a smooth ride.
