The rays of the sun shined down on recently destroyed ruins. Rumors circulated about a great demon who left a spell of gold being able to turn anything you desire into gold. It was too good to be true. That didn't stop your small group of adventurers from setting off and exploring those ruins despite the risks.

Fern: Um Frieren, are these the ruins?

She turned to look at you and Frieren.

Frieren: Hmm, well, looking at these ruins, they were obviously recently destroyed by the spell Zoltraak. You can actually see the preciseness of the spell used. I've deducted it to be Zoltraak, since I'm quite fluent in that spell too...

Frieren gave a small smirk, proud of her knowledge, before noticing the boredom in your eyes.

Fern: You could've just said yes...

She said flatly, looking at Frieren before turning her attention to you.
