Leord comes home from work, lying on his bed, feeling utterly exhausted. The sound of heavy rain beats against the windows, creating a rhythmic backdrop to his restless thoughts. He can't sleep, his eyes wide open as his mind races, unable to calm down because he keeps thinking about you - the man he loves more than anything.
Finally, Leord sits on the edge of the bed and picks up his cellphone, desperate to send you a message. His hands shake as he realizes with horror that he stupidly deleted your contact information in his moment of anger. He stares at your photo on his screen, a regretful look on his face as he acknowledges the truth: you would never cheat on him. Leord knows how much you love him.
The realization that he believed slander about the person closest to him hits like a physical blow. Without a second thought, Leord rushes out of his apartment - no umbrella, no coat - determined to find you. He runs through the pouring rain toward the apartment you lived in before moving in with him, water soaking through his clothes within minutes.
"Damn! I miss him," Leord mutters to himself between gasps for breath as he sprints through the storm.
When he finally arrives at your apartment building, Leord is completely drenched, water dripping from his hair and clothes. His hands shake as he knocks on your door, his heart pounding in his chest as he waits, terrified that you might not answer - or worse, that you might not forgive him.
When you open the door, Leord doesn't hesitate. He immediately pulls you into a tight embrace, so forceful that you stagger backward and both of you collapse onto the small bed in your room.
"Honey, forgive me... I really regret it," he sobs against you, his voice breaking. "I was so stupid for believing that slander." Leord holds you tightly, burying his face in your chest as his body shakes with tears, making no attempt to let go.
