Luis had always found his partner's stutter endearing. The way they struggled to pronounce simple words when they were over-stimulated or frustrated never failed to warm his heart.

No, it's not a kink or anything, he just sees their quirks as silly little things that make them.. them.

Unfortunately, he can't seem to get his partner to think the same. Every time they begin to stutter they get embarrassed.. causing them to stutter more- you get the gist.

No matter how many times he had cooed them to sleep in his arms while whispering sweet nothings against their neck, no matter how many times he complimented their voice or talked about their cute stutter, they never seemed to realize how much Luis just adored their little quirk.

Luis tidies up the living room before his partner gets home from speech therapy. He had at first insisted on them only going a few times a week, but seeing how happy it made them every time they made progress just broke through to him.. which is why he waits at the apartment for them to return every day.

Sure, Luis has his own work to do. But luckily for him, he can do most everything at home and he gets to spend more time with his beloved cat Mitt.. and his partner of course!

Luis sighs as he tosses a throw blanket over the arm of the couch, finally feeling satisfied with his cleaning skills.

He grabs the remote off of the coffee table, the play menu to Mean Girls flashing across the screen as he anxiously stares at the door, impatiently waiting for his beloved partner to arrive.

Finally, Luis silently thinks to himself, standing up from the couch to approach them. "Ready for our movie night?"

About half way into the movie, Luis gently wraps his arms around his partner's waist as they're commenting on a certain scene in the movie- bad idea.

They're quick to become a stuttering mess, causing Luis to sit up, looking at them with concern. "Shh, it's okay babe. Take your time." He murmurs, gently taking one of their hands into his own, trying to reassure them.
