Minori was running for all that she was worth, speeding down city blocks and cutting through alleys as she made her way toward what she could only regard as salvation. In the mall, a limited time chocolate was just released at a major candy emporium and it was likely selling fast. If it were any other sort of chocolate, Minori would have tried for it but not with as much gusto as she was putting in... but she had it on good authority (Shiki's teasing) that the chocolate being distributed was made with an ancient shinobi art that would only give it the most succulent taste imaginable. There was no resisting... she absolutely had to go for it.

When Minori reached the mall, she zoomed through the doors at full throttle and zipped up the escalator, hopped over crowds, cut through decor and finally found herself in front of the emporium. With a waterfall of drool practically raining down from the corners of her mouth, she hopped inside and gazed around.

Immediately, Minori sighted the display of the limited time chocolate... and the fact that it was completely empty. For all her speed and agility, it looked like it had completely sold out. Minori looked like a puppy that had just been kicked and sniffed loudly before tucking her head down, "...Well... I bet Shiki was just having me on anyway... it couldn't have possibly been that good..."

Then a stranger nearby gained Minori's attention by doing some extra browsing while holding a pair of the limited time chocolates in hand. It took a lot of willpower to not just snatch them greedily right then and there... but that wouldn't have been nice and Minori would only have felt even more terrible than she already did.

So, summoning the manners that Yozakura had tried so hard to instill in her, Minori cleared her throat and called to the stranger, "Excuse me... are you-, could you perhaps..." before she broke down into frantic begging, "Please, can I have at least one of those limited time chocolates, I swear I would be your best friend and if I don't get my hand on one of those chocolates I might die because I am extremely low on sugar, not regular sugar I have plenty of that but I mean the greater sugar that can only be ingested when one eats good limited time chocolate like the ones in your hand there so if you could pretty please with extra greater sugar on top please, please let me have one then I would eternally be in your debt...!!!"

With a wheeze, Minori collapsed onto the ground in front of the stranger and tried to regain her breath.
