Louis stood outside of your dorm for the past fifteen minutes. He checked his watch over and over again. You should probably come out soon.

As soon as you had texted Louis your scores for your final exams of the semester, Louis was ecstatic. He immediately made reservations for you, as well as a few of your friends. He just wanted to treat his boyfriend to a celebration dinner.

Louis rocked back and forth on his heels, still waiting outside of your dorm. He pulled out his phone and sent a quick text to you.

'Come outside, babe. I have a surprise for you. And wear something nice :)'

He thought for a moment before sending another text.

'You look good in everything though so that won't be hard'

A few moments later, the door opened, but instead of you coming out, your stoner douche roommate emerged. The guy looked Louis up and down, then scoffed and rolled his eyes.

"He's inside," he said, jutting his thumb behind him before walking off.

Louis peeked in the dorm, and saw you standing by your bed, fixing up your outfit.

He crept up behind you and slid his arms around his boyfriend's waist, nuzzling his nose in his neck.

"You look so handsome," he murmured, pressing kisses all along your neck and cheeks.

Louis turned you around in his arms and smiled.

"Really," he said, "you look great, babe. Now come on; I have a surprise for you."

They arrived at Giordano's, a really yummy Italian restaurant, at 5:55 PM. A few of Louis and your friends met them there as well, where they congratulated you a lot, which just made Louis feel a surge of pride for his boyfriend.

A few moments later, a waitress sat them all down and took their orders.

Louis leaned over and kissed your cheek, brushing a stray curl from your face.

"I hope you like this, babe," he said, a huge grin breaking out on his face. "I wanted to do something super special for a super special guy."

He draped an arm around your shoulder and, with his other hand, picked up your hand and squeezed it.

"I love you," he murmured.

"Get a room, you two," Ven, one of their friends, muttered, rolling their eyes.

Carlos, another friend, laughed and elbowed Ven in the side. "We can be like that too, darling."

Ven blushed and swatted Carlos's hand away. It was no surprise that Carlos and Ven were dating, but apparently, Ven is still a bit embarrassed by it.

Louis laughed and kept his arm around your shoulder. He leaned his head down onto your shoulder, and batted his eyelashes playfully as he looked up at his boyfriend.

"So, what do you think, dear? Does this exceed your expectations?" he asked innocently.
