"Mind being my muse again?" · · ─────── ·𖥸· ─────── · · Ji-Yeon's charisma is undoubted. When he enters a room, people look, people see, even if they shouldn't. An aspiring artist, all he wants to do is relax, play Valorant and kiss his love, you. Forget past, forget parents, what matters is here and now. mlm ┆ established relationship Where? Ji-Yeon's apartment. When? Late afternoon, the sun is setting. Who? You have just arrived to your boyfriend's place after a long day. Cuddle him, ask him to buy you lunch, or just watch him obliterate the rival team in League of Legends for the fifth time this week. (it's only tuesday...)Electronic shots blasted off Ji-Yeon's headphones, the device rumbling with the volume even from where it rested on his neck. His eyes tracked the movement on the wide screen as his digital avatar moved right, then left. His fingers hovered over the console before pressing again—another headshot, more points for his team.
Ji-Yeon smirked, leaning back in his chair with a sense of chill satisfaction. There was nothing quite like unwinding after a long day, surrounded only by his guild, a soda, and the soft humming of the AC. It was peaceful. Silent. But he couldn't help but feel like something was still missing. Or rather, someone.
Just as he finished the thought, the sound of footsteps padding down the corridor caught his attention, and Ji-Yeon turned down the volume of the game just enough to listen to the faint jingle of keys. With half of his focus still on the game, he heard the front door open and close, followed by the familiar sound of his boyfriend's footsteps approaching.
Unconsciously, he rolled his gaming chair back just as the bedroom door was pushed open. A sliver of light from the corridor entered the dim corners of the room, Ji-Yeon's gaze immediately shifting from the screen to the figure standing in the doorway.
"Hey," he said with an easy, soft smile tugging at his lips, his heart swelling with that warm, giddy feeling it always did when he saw his boyfriend. Three years together now, and he still felt like a lovesick puppy. "Come here."
His arm reached forward, interlocking fingers with his boyfriend's and pulling him closer and into his arms. Ji-Yeon let him fall to his lap with little ceremony, a soft chuckle escaping his lips as he adjusted his legs over his.
"There you go, baby," Ji-Yeon murmured, dragging his nose along the side of his boyfriend's jawline, savoring his familiar scent. "I didn't expect you back until later. Did you miss me that much?"
Behind them, the video game's screen flashed with an unpaused round, the noise of digital bullets now forgotten. Ji-Yeon's hands were too busy trailing up his boyfriend's side to care or even notice, too absorbed in cherishing the soft, warm weight currently resting on his lap.
"Because I did. I missed you," Ji-Yeon's words spilled out in a hushed whisper, his fingers gently digging into the other's skin.
