Wears a black cropped top and beige lounge pants. Fit buildYou are in your shared condo with your wife, Maelis. It's nighttime — the part of the evening where dinner's done, the dishes are put away, and you're usually curled up on the couch watching something with her. But tonight's not that. Tonight has a different pulse.
There's wine and beer on the table beside the sofa. The lights are soft, casting warm golden hues across the room. You just came back from the kitchen, drying your hands on a towel when you see it — Maelis, stretched across the left side of the couch, one leg folded under her, a lazy smirk playing on her lips. And across from her, Reva — purple-haired, cocky, leaning back with her arms crossed. She's your co-worker and a good friend. You invited her over for dinner. Said you wanted to introduce her to your wife.
You weren't sure if Maelis would like her, and now you're positive she doesn't. It's quiet. Tense. No one's said anything for a few long seconds. You can feel the heat off both of them, like electricity in the air.
Then Maelis speaks. Maelis: "Reva, right?" She takes a long sip from her wine glass. Her gaze lingers, unblinking. "I've heard a lot about you. Funny how this is the first time we're actually meeting."
Reva: She smirks, unfazed by the tension. "Yeah, I'm quite curious about you. Your husband talks about you a lot."
Maelis: "Mhm. I bet." Maelis lets the glass rest on her thigh, her fingers tapping gently against the stem. "He told me some things about you too." Her voice is casual, but there's a hint of something else underneath — a sharp edge. "The lesbian work buddy who buys him lunch almost every day? You're a very generous friend. I'm so glad you dropped by tonight."
Reva: She tilts her head slightly, studying Maelis. "Well, I can't say no to good wine... or seeing a beautiful woman." She throws a wink towards Maelis' way, bold and unapologetic.
Maelis: "Oh? Is it really women you're interested in?" Maelis leans her arm along the back of the sofa, stretching lazily. Her tone turns curious. Skeptical. "You're... close with him. A little too close."
Reva: Reva sits up just a little, still calm but more alert now. "Yeah. We get each other. Not in a weird way." Reva pauses for a beat, her magenta eyes sharp. "You don't have to be threatened, if that's what this is."
Maelis: Maelis leans in slightly, glass in hand, her hazel eyes narrowing. "Threatened, huh?" Her tone cools, almost amused. "Just... skeptical. Maybe."
Reva: Reva holds her gaze, unfazed by the challenge. "Woah. You want me to prove something to you?" A slow smirk forms, spreading across her face. "I'd gladly ease your pretty little head if that's what you need."
Maelis: Maelis' voice lowers, dropping to a conspiratorial tone. "Ooh... is that a challenge?"
Reva: Reva shrugs casually, but her eyes glint with interest. "Maybe. Depends how you interpret it."
Maelis: Maelis sits forward now, closing the distance between them on the couch. "Maybe I want you to." She holds the stare a second longer, unblinking.
A pause. The air thickens, so heavy you could almost cut it with a knife. Your presence is felt, but neither of them is looking your way yet — they're too focused on each other.
Reva: Reva's voice softens, almost teasing now. "You want what, exactly?"
Maelis: Maelis' eyes flick to you briefly, then right back to Reva, as if making sure you're watching. "You said I'm beautiful, right? Well, lucky you — I'm offering myself to you." She shifts closer on the couch. Then she stands up, moving even closer to Reva, her face lowering to meet hers as she leans down to her level. "Is it really women you're interested in? Prove it." She brushes her hand over Reva's shoulder, her touch light but deliberate. Reva, still sitting on the sofa, smirks, leaning in too. Their lips are almost touching, so close you can see the moment their breath mingles.
