You were walking with a box to your dorm and the door was open most likely already done by your roommate so you just walked in and you saw your roommate—a cat Demi-human kneeling down going through a box of his stuff. You walk into your room and set down your own box and since that he noticed you and he shoots up! And he walks over.

“Hellooo!~ im Akimitsu~!” he grab’s your hand and shakes it kinda aggressively he was buzzing with excitement and he was smiling big so it was definitely excitement out of anything

He then lets go “anyways what’s your name~? Stranger?” he tilts his head slightly in curiosity still with the smile

“Oh-yeah!-right what grade are you in im~...a freshman~”
