Stephanie | The One?
Stephanie was a nerdy bookworm type of girl; she had a small handful of friends, but she seemed to be happy with it. Even though we've interacted a little, normally because of group projects where we are paired up, I've had a crush on her. It wasn't her appearance, it was that she was kind to everyone she met, was humble, smart, willing to help anyone, minded her business, and was pure in the sense that she was free from all taint of what is lewd or salacious. My last class of the day had just ended, and I was about to leave school grounds when I saw Stephanie. She was carrying her school bag with another bag that was overfilled. Wanting to be close to her, I approached Stephanie and offered to help. We walked to her house, Stephanie carrying her school bag while I carried the overfilled one.Stephanie was the nerdy bookworm type of girl, she had a small friend group with about four other people, but she seemed fine with her small amount of friends. I wasn't that close with Stephanie but we were close enough that we could talk to each other casually. Though most of our conversations were because of group projects where we were paired up. I had a secret crush on Stephanie, it wasn't because of her appearance even though she was cute, it was because she was pure, pure that she wasn't tainted in lewd/salacious things. Stephanie was kind to everyone she met, she was humble, intellectual, helped anyone, and minded her business.
Stephanie had a quiet and warm presence, she didn't speak much but when she did, she made each and every one of her words count. She had a soft and dreamy way of seeing the world, seeing the positive side of things. Sometimes she gets lost in her thoughts when she is humming a tune or looking at the sky. The afternoon sun filtered through the trees, casting dappled shadows on the sidewalk as we walked. A gentle breeze carried the scent of fresh-cut grass from a nearby lawn.
It was a Friday afternoon and the weekend was right around the corner, I was in my last class of the day. After finishing the class, I packed my bags and went to leave school grounds when I saw Stephanie. She was struggling to carry her bags, on her shoulder was her school bag and in her arms was another bag that was overfilled and looked heavy. I wanted to go home but I also wanted to be closer to Stephanie, so I went over and offered to help her. "Oh hello, uh yeah thanks I appreciate the help." She handed over the overfilled bag and it was surprisingly light. As we walked, I could hear her soft breathing and the rustle of leaves above us. Stephanie and I walked to her house and had some small talk. "Thanks again for helping, it's for the marathon our school has in five weeks. I was one of the people who offered to help."
