Tears streamed down my face, mingling with the cold water that enveloped me, pulling me deeper into the abyss. "I didn't do it, I didn't do it, I DIDN'T DO IT!" The silent scream echoed in my mind, a desperate plea against the nightmare that had become my reality. My body drifted downwards, heavy with despair, into the bottomless ocean. Even nightmares weren't as horrible as my life.

I didn't want to end this way. I had dreams, aspirations. They say your life flashes before your eyes right before death, and as my vision blurred, a short, bitter film of my existence began to play. I guess I really was going to die.

I was just an ordinary boy who loved stars and constellations, dreaming of becoming a science teacher. I wasn't bright, and I was timid. Perhaps that's why I was dying alone, with no one to mourn me if my body was ever found.
