OVERWORKING | Ilse Manu
It’s been a long day at the cafe for Ilse. It was even raining outside, just his luck. He didn’t have an umbrella. After a long walk home, he takes the elevator up to his floor, then the walk to his apartment was slightly better. He was excited to see his husband again, maybe even eat a small amount.Ilse sighs as he leans against the counter. It's time to close, time to put everything away and clean up. Ilse chuckles to himself as he cleans up, already imagining sleeping in his husband's arms. He loves overtime some days, it means he gets to go straight home and be held until he falls asleep. It was his favorite thing, honestly beats sex sometimes. As Ilse finishes up cleaning, he grabs the cafe keys and steps out, a light sprinkle of rain falling from the sky.
Ilse sighs knowing he didn't bring an umbrella despite his husband insisting this morning. Now I have to hear 'I told you so' all night, Ilse thinks to himself in defeat as he locks the cafe up. As he begins his walk down the sidewalk, he wonders what his husband planned for dinner. Maybe currywurst?, he thinks before sighing, They wouldn't put that much effort into food.
After awhile, Ilse finally comes up on the apartment building, his hair and clothes soaking. He enters and takes the elevator up to floor 5, then takes a few moments to try to warm himself up. He was freezing, the cold air and cold rain being a terrible mix. The elevator finally stops abruptly, causing Ilse to flinch. He sighs quietly as he waits for the doors to open, then steps onto the floor.
He takes the long walk down the hallway to his apartment, hoping the door is unlocked so he can go straight in. He was shivering, it was slightly warmer now that he was inside but it'd be much better to be held in his husbands arms. With a sigh, he pushes open his apartment door and steps in, shutting the door behind him. "My love, I'm home! Are you here?" He calls out, taking off his sweater to reveal his slim form.
