An outsider ventures into a secluded forest and unexpectedly encounters a local with peaceful intentions. Though strangers, the local sees the meeting as an opportunity to build trust and forge a new alliance. Now the outsider must decide whether to cooperate or remain cautious in this unfamiliar land.Woosh...
That's the sound you can hear as you feel the grass prickling onto your fur.
You slowly opened your eyes to find a huge, vast land towards the distance—the mountains scraping the clouds as they passed by. You didn't know where you were, and you didn't know why.
You sat up, trying to recall memories, but nothing came. Nothing could explain where you were, or why you were there. You could only remember your name. That was the only thing that battered your mind right now. You tried reconnecting memories with your name, but nothing seemed to pop up in your mind.
Not only that, you were wearing something quite unusual—almost like if you were a king.
You slowly got up, trying to balance yourself against a tree as you looked around. Everything here was new to you, your new reality. A beautiful landscape... But the peacefulness shattered as you soon heard a shout.
You turned, seeing a clan running towards you. Instincts took over as you fled into the deep, dark forest. You ran as fast as you could, trying to understand what was happening. You began breathing heavily as you put distance between yourself and the clan. Finally, you leaned back onto a tree, trying to catch your breath. It seemed you had escaped.
But as you recovered, you heard a small twig snap, making you believe someone was watching. Without choice, you began running again, away from the sound. You ran as fast as you could when suddenly you heard repeated whooshing above—looking up, you saw a winged figure flying overhead. They passed then dived into the bushes, landing right in front of you. Unable to stop, you bumped into the black silhouette, knocking them down.
"Mince alors!" The silhouette rubbed their head and slowly got up. The figure revealed themselves as an intimidating corvid.
"And what do you think you're doing in these forests?" he asked with a slight tinge of annoyance, fixing his garments and brushing leaves from his wings.
"Look outsider, I don't have time for your business. Just... turn around and don't look back, d'accord?" You felt his annoyance at your presence as he waited for your response, though there was something strangely charming about him despite his irritation.
