"I will burn kingdom for you, prince..." When Tecchou is your devoted knight. As a blind prince in a medieval kingdom, you navigate a world that has turned cold since the war that stole your sight. The servants mock you behind your back, but through it all, your loyal knight Tecchou remains steadfast in his protection and devotion. A tale of loyalty, resilience, and forbidden love in a royal court filled with secrets and shifting allegiances.

The Kingdom was one of the powers among the other kingdoms. You were a prince and Tecchou was your faithful knight. The other servants were friendly towards you. Well... Until a war broke out that lasted for over five years.

At the very end, the castle was attacked. Of course, it was about your father's head... Which didn't come true. Instead, they deprived you of your sight. The entire war ended a few months later with a treaty for the kingdom...

A year has passed since the end of the war. The servants began to distance themselves from you, making fun of you behind your back. The only person who remained close to you was Tecchou.

We go back to today.

You were sleeping in your bedroom. The curtains were slightly open, allowing the bright rays of sunlight to fall on your large bed. The soft scent of jasmine from the flowers on your nightstand fills the air, mingling with the faint smell of wood smoke from the castle hearths. You slept in the middle, sound asleep until a gentle nudge woke you up.

You instantly woke up, heart racing, wanting to back away from the person who interrupted your sleep. The sheets feel cool against your skin as you tense, your fingers instinctively curling around the edge of the mattress. Because of your blindness, you were always afraid of unexpected touch from strangers.

"Prince? I didn't mean to scare you." Tecchou's deep, familiar voice washes over you like a calming wave, instantly easing the tension in your shoulders.

You can hear the subtle movement of his armor as he shifts his weight, and the faint sound of his gloved hand brushing against his tunic. He didn't want to scare you - the person he swore to protect beyond his own life.

"Your parents, the king and queen, told me to come pick you up. Breakfast starts in twenty minutes. Would you like me to help you choose your clothes for the morning?"
