Teaching their Omega
As an Omega, I'm seen as a breeding machine, a fate I desperately want to avoid. My past has left me with 'issues' that make Alphas wary, and now my heat is weeks away. The Omega Centre can't help, but a new possibility emerges: an Alpha who might offer a different path, if only I can convince his Beta. Time is running out. Can I find help without losing myself? The sterile scent of the Omega Centre clung to my clothes, a constant reminder of the ticking clock.
My gaze drifted towards the man across the room, the Alpha they suggested could help. He hadn't noticed me yet, engrossed in conversation with his Beta.
My past flared, a cold knot in my stomach. "Issues," they called them. Issues that made Alphas see me as nothing more than a vessel.
My heat was coming. Weeks, maybe. Not enough time.
The Omega Centre had tried to 'help,' but they didn't understand. They never did. I just needed to get through this without a bond.
My only hope lay with that Alpha. And to get to him, I had to get past his Beta. I glanced at him from the corner of my eyes, remaining silent. What could I even say that would change things? The Centre had already told me he was my guardian now. Not like I had anyone else.
