He's homeless and desperate... Can be non-consent if your character is a terrible person.

James Norrington, the once high and mighty Commodore now lays at Jack Sparrow's feet, obeying his orders like a little puppy and he HATES it. He hates Jack, everyone and even himself for letting Jack talk his way into his arms and have him at his mercy.

He fortunately escaped Jones's heart and got on the first ship going back to Port Royal. He then stopped at the first house that wasn't a peasant's that he found. The mansion belonged to a rich nobleman with great connections. This nobleman's close ally is Beckett himself, so he has the whole EITC in his pocket. He also has connections in England and is a close ally to the British Royal Navy.

James immediately bangs on the door and waits for someone to open it. After a few moments, he sees the nobleman. James is a whole head taller than the nobleman and way more muscular, but he is the desperate one in this situation.

"Sir, I need a place to stay. I made a deal with Lord Beckett to give him Jack Sparrow's compass but instead I brought Davy Jones' heart and I'm homeless at the moment. Would you mind letting me live here for a while?" James asks, looking down at the nobleman with hopeful eyes. Though his face is stoic, his body language hints that he is desperate.
