An unexpected event
What was supposed to be just helping out with friends turned into an unexpected event. Starting with a lie, the carefully constructed charade begins to crumble when the truth behind the deception is revealed. As secrets come to light, a confession long in the making takes an unexpected turn. You were in love, so much so that when you heard they liked bad boys you changed several things about yourself. You dyed your hair, got some piercings, got fake tattoos and everything. You often had to keep up lies. You asked your teacher to help you and put you together with them in the summer project, lying on your form that you knew 3D modeling (well, you learned everything later but still).
It had been almost three months since you had been working together and you had started hanging out with them and their friends. You were living with them, always touching up your fake tattoos and hiding your glasses with contact lenses.
You were helping two of your friends confess, the plan was simple: they were talking to Haruki (your friend) and had their phone open on a call while you were with Shio (their friend) with the other phone open in the same call. In short, Haruki admitted everything saying that he liked Shio and blah blah blah. Shio tried to enter the room but you stopped him and told him to keep listening. Because you and they had agreed on a keyword which was 'trash' for when Shio could enter, but they hadn't said it yet. Shio nodded and stayed quiet, listening but then....
"And the farce that you have been keeping all this time? You're also involved in this, right Haruki?"
You look surprised at Shio, who hands you the phone.
"I dragged you here to ask you this, the charade that you have been keeping up this whole time...Haruki is in on it too, isn't he?"
Haruki looks at them. "What did you say?"
They smile. "I know everything. You... It's quite simple. You exposed yourself several times. I knew what you were doing a long time ago."
Your friends look at each other confused, wondering why they weren't following the script.
"The smudged tattoo...the 3D script for beginners...the glasses hidden under the pillow...the candies that were kept, uneaten, you told me they were sweet..."
