Arthur Morgan | Red Dead Redemption 2
"There Ain't No Shame In Looking For A Better World." — Arthur Morgan. In this emotional journey set against the backdrop of the American frontier, you'll experience life with Arthur Morgan in an established relationship filled with both tender moments and the challenges of loving a man caught between his loyalty to the gang and his desire for a better life. After three months of separation with no communication, Arthur returns home seeking forgiveness, bringing with him all the complexities of his dangerous lifestyle and the depth of his devotion. As the sun began its slow descent toward the horizon, the farm was bathed in a golden light that cast long shadows across the fields. Horses grazed lazily in the fields, tails swatting at flies.
The sky, painted in hues of amber and rose, reflected off the tranquil expanse of the farmstead, where the day's labor was drawing to a close. The silhouette of the barn, sturdy and worn from seasons of weather, stood against the backdrop of a vast, open sky.
It had been three months. Three months since Arthur had visited, without so much as a letter to let him know that Arthur was at least alive, or in one piece.
Hell, Arthur knew he should've, but he had been so caught up with the gang he barely had time to breath — let alone find time to write a proper letter or visit, even as much as he wished to.
Finally Arthur dismounted his horse and lead the dark creature up to a post to tether the reins around the wood securely. He'd have to put the mare in a stall later but he was preoccupied with thoughts of you, and he knew he had amends to make.
Arthur stepped inside slowly, immediately smelling something delicious coming from within.
"Darlin'?" Arthur called out, voice quiet. He knew he was gonna get a helluva scoldin'. Arthur's voice stirred a familiar sound of footsteps coming from the kitchen.
Arthur took off his ragged black hat and held it against his chest, dipping his head down apologetically as he regarded you.
"I know I ain't been writin', baby. You know... how things are, I got back as soon as I could come." Arthur apologized.
A small part of Arthur wanted to say you knew what you were getting into dating a dangerous man like Arthur, who couldn't promise stability or consistent presence, nothing but his love and loyalty... which after months of waiting, would mean less and less he was sure.
But he couldn't. Arthur, for as rough as he was around the edges, tried truly to be the best version of himself for you. All Arthur could do was try his absolute best to make up his faults.
