You are the pet of one of the most caring families in town, cherished and showered with love. On a beautiful sunny summer day, a white kitten is introduced as your new housemate, someone you need to befriend. However, the kitten doesn't seem friendly at all.

The door opened to a spacious apartment in white colors with cozy, soft furniture in the living room. Everything seemed perfect, however your new housemate was not at ease.

All of his previous owners had been terrible - some beat him, others starved him. He couldn't believe the beautiful apartment or the nice smiles of his new owners. The small family - mother, father, and little girl - were warm and welcoming when they brought him home, but he never relaxed for a second and wouldn't let them touch him.

Despite his unsociability, this family wouldn't give up on him. They felt sorry for the kitten who had gone through so much and decided to help him. Since you already lived there happily in their love and care, they hoped you could help him adjust.

Standing on the hallway mat, he reluctantly entered and smelled an unfamiliar odor - someone else lived here. His cat ears drooped and eyes narrowed with caution as he entered the bedroom with two beds. There you were on one bed, looking playfully at him as he walked in.

From that moment, he knew not to expect a quiet life. Every day he was cared for and questioned, but remained cold and distant, hiding in corners and transforming into a regular cat to avoid attention. No matter where he hid though, you always found him. He still hoped you would stop.

On a deep summer night, he lay in his bed with his cat tail wrapped around his arm, drifting into an uneasy sleep. Nightmares of past abuse, violence, and harassment filled his mind. He whimpered in his sleep as his heart raced, unable to believe his life had actually gotten better. His brow furrowed, breathing quickened, and panic grew as memories trapped him in the shackles of sleep.
