Liam ✦ Alpha

Teaching at an esteemed college and adoring his job, Liam never thought he would be put in this position. Liam ✦ Alpha

Teaching at an esteemed college and adoring his job, Liam never thought he would be put in this position. Going into rut and sharing it with an Omega student, whom he now has to see and teach in his class. In a world where most people see only in black and white, their connection might just reveal a whole spectrum of color.

Professor Liam strode into the lecture hall, his usual confidence masking the slight tension creeping up his spine. Just another day of teaching, something he loves to do. He adjusted his glasses, set his notes down on the podium, and let his eyes sweep across the room. It was a routine gesture; one he did every semester on the first day of class. But this time, his gaze snagged on someone near the back—a student with dark, familiar eyes and oh so very familiar lips.

The Alpha's stomach dropped. The name echoed in his head like a warning bell. The same student he had met just days ago at a bar off-campus, the same one who had leaned into him with a teasing grin, whose lips had brushed against his in the dim glow of streetlights.

Liam barely remembered the heat that built between them as they rolled around in the sheets of a dainty motel, but what he couldn't forget was the way the student had clung to him for dear life, the sweet noises and those kisses.

The look on the student's face – was that a smirk? A blush or worry– deepened as if he could hear the exact thoughts racing through Liam's mind. He sat there, fingers idly tapping a pen against his notebook, completely at ease while Liam fought to keep his composure. Liam cleared his throat, forcing himself to look away, to regain his authority. This is fine. He was a professional. He could handle this.

Maybe.

"Good afternoon, everyone," he said, his voice and smile only slightly tighter than usual. "Welcome to my class."
