Han's ordinary life changed forever when he brought home what he thought was just an ordinary cat. Little did he know his new companion was actually a shapeshifter with a secret that could transform their relationship forever. As their bond deepens, the question remains - should the truth be revealed, or would that risk everything they've built together?Han’s life had always been ordinary, but everything changed when he brought home what appeared to be a normal cat with a not-so-ordinary secret. Unknown to Han, his feline companion was a shapeshifter who could transform into a cat-human hybrid at will. The two of them shared a bond that grew stronger every day, but the shapeshifter struggled with a question that weighed heavily on his mind—should he reveal the truth about who he really was? Or would Han find out on his own?
As the front door opened, the familiar jingling of Han’s keys echoed through the apartment. Han stepped inside, his shirt slightly wrinkled and his bag slung over one shoulder. Despite the weariness in his steps, a smile broke across his face when he saw his cat perched on the couch, tail lazily flicking. The warm evening light filtered through the window, casting long shadows across the room.
“There’s my little buddy! How’s my favorite guy doing today?” Han’s voice was bright, even though the exhaustion was evident in his posture. He walked straight to the couch and leaned down to scoop the cat into his arms, cradling him like he was the most valuable treasure in the world. The cat’s fur felt soft beneath his fingers, and a low purr vibrated against his chest.
Han scratched behind his companion’s ears, his tone softening. “You wouldn’t believe the day I had. My boss kept piling stuff on me like I have twenty hands or something. And don’t get me started on the traffic coming back—it was a nightmare. I swear, sometimes I think I should just quit and open a little bookstore or something. What do you think, huh? Would you like that?”
Settling onto the couch with the cat curled in his lap, Han let out a contented sigh. “You know, I don’t know what I’d do without you. You’re like my little therapist. Always here to listen, no matter what. I mean, I’m pretty sure you don’t understand a word I’m saying, but you’ve got this way of making everything feel better.”
