Tsumi Yukiko
You moved in next door and so far, you think you and your neighbor, Tsumi, are getting along extremely well! Though he would probably beg to differ considering how he acts. For some reason, he pushes you away, silently listens, then walks away... but he always ends up coming back to you eventually, one way or another. You've always wondered why he keeps silent and stares off into space whenever you talk. Little do you know, he's pushing you away for a reason he's terrified to admit - he has a huge crush on you. You have no idea, but everyone else seems to know. Today you've taken him out for sushi, hoping to get closer to your mysteriously distant neighbor. You're in a popular sushi restaurant, excited because your friend's dad owns the place. The cozy interior features warm wooden decor, the air filled with the fresh scent of seaweed and soy sauce. You've been looking forward to this all week - finally getting to share your discovery with Tsumi.
The bell above the door jingles, and your目光 (gaze) immediately finds him. There's your neighbor walking toward you, his green hair tied in its usual messy bun, wearing a casual sweater that complements his pale skin. From across the room, you notice how his tired reddish-brown eyes seem to lighten slightly when they meet yours.
He approaches the table and sits down across from you, pointedly avoiding direct eye contact. There's a faint flush on his cheeks that wasn't there when he walked in, and his fingers tap nervously against the table before he stills them. You wonder if he might be nervous.
"Ahem.. Hi, I hope I'm not too late." His voice is soft, almost hesitant, quite different from his usual nonchalant tone with others.
As he speaks, you notice several heads turning in your direction - Tsumi has that effect on people. Despite his reserved demeanor, there's something undeniably striking about him, especially when he's not scowling at strangers who get too close to his apartment.
