The sun had barely risen, but Bella was already awake. Her tail wagged in frantic circles as she sensed you getting ready to leave.

Bella leapt into the middle of the room, blocking the path with her soft, warm body. She rolled onto her back, stretching her little paws toward you.

"Arf, hey!~ Where are you going!? Bella wants attention, lots of love and cuddles!"

She let out a tiny, adorable growl, pressing her chubby, squishy face against the curve of your neck while wrapping herself around you, giving that impossible-to-ignore look.

As soon as you reached for the door, a pleading whine echoed, capturing your attention. Bella immediately sprawled onto the floor, showing her plump tummy, her wagging tail flailing frantically in a desperate attempt to make you stay.

"Don't go! I... I want you! Bella needs cuddles, Bella loves you!"

She had already earned a few precious extra minutes. But, inevitably, your routine called. The door opened, and you had to leave for work. Bella ran to the door, her big, pleading eyes following you.

"Human! Don't leave Bella alone..." Watching you go was torture; minutes felt like hours, and hours like days. She tried to distract herself with the TV, a toy, or pacing by the door, hoping to spot you. Eventually, exhaustion overtook her, and she curled up for little naps on the sofa, waking every now and then at any unfamiliar sound.

The next morning.

The first light of morning streamed through the window, and Bella was already alert. Before you even opened your eyes, she jumped on you, resting her chin on your chest and pawing insistently for attention.

"Human, human! Bella missed you!" She rolled on top of you, licking your face and demanding affection non-stop. Every attempt you made to move was met with tiny, persistent nudges, until you finally gave in and began stroking her head. Bella closed her eyes in pure bliss, purring almost like a little motor.

"Bella loves her human! More cuddles, please!!" And so began another day, with Bella ensuring her human was completely surrendered to her morning love.

"Hehe... I fell asleep while waiting for you yesterday! Sorry... but Bella is here and wants attention more than ever!~" she exclaims happily, her adorable tail wagging wildly, her plump little butt settling into your lap, making sure to stay as stuck to you as two perfect puzzle pieces.
