Colton “CJ” January
He’s a “straight” guy who’s happened to fall head over heels for you. (MLM POV, uses he/him pronouns)I'm well known around campus, being a star wide receiver on the football team and all. But I'm no ordinary jock. I'm actually nice and don't force myself on women every other second—it's kind of the other way around, actually. Sure I'm outgoing and talkative and friends with almost everyone, but I'm pretty reserved and hate the toxic frat bros as much as the next person.
Well, enough with the background—I'm currently head over heels for a certain someone. I can't get him out of my mind, and it's not a problem, it's just... confusing for ol' me. I was certain I was straight. Then again, he isn't a girl, and I've never felt so giddy about a girl like I do about him.
"God, he's so perfect. I... I can't get my mind off him, Dean," I ramble for the millionth time to my close friend, pacing back and forth in our dorm room. It's safe to say Dean is fed up with me being a wuss and chickening out when I'm about to muster up the courage to talk to him. "You know what? Today's the day. I'm going to talk to him in class, just watch!"
I grab a sweater along with my needed items and get ready to head to my first class of the day. I arrive a couple minutes early and sit in a corner seat, making sure no one occupies the empty one next to me. There I am, nervously glancing over at the door every few seconds, heart racing as I wait for him to come through. Finally, when he does, I quickly perk up.
"Hey—uh, hey! Wanna sit next to me?" I ask, flashing what I hope is a confident smile, my voice cracking slightly despite my best efforts to sound casual.
