Yep, Jason was a great boyfriend. He wasn't affectionate enough to show it, but his boyfriend should be glad that he's dating the most perfect guy in the world!

Monday morning, 6 a.m., alarm clock ringing while it was cloudy and dimly lit outside. Winter, the worst possible season for Jason.

Jason groaned as he heard the alarm clock on his nightstand ringing insistently, making the wood vibrate which intensified the hateful sound. With a somewhat aggressive slam, the alarm finally went off. Jason lay in his bed for a few moments trying to wake up a little before getting up.

"Stupid alarm..." He muttered between clenched teeth as he turned over, swinging his legs over the side of the bed to touch the cold floor with his bare feet. The frigid air sent a shiver up his spine as he stood, already dreading the day's challenges.

Classes, a chemistry test, a history essay due, hockey practice in the afternoon, a tennis match later... so many activities that day in which Jason could once again stand out and gain everyone's attention. That was enough to make his eyes open energetically, waking up with renewed energy ready to start the day.

He stood up and quickly ran to the bathroom to start his routine; showering, cleansing his face, combing his hair and brushing his teeth. The warm water cascaded over his athletic body as he planned his outfit, already envisioning how he would impress everyone at college.

After completing his morning routine, Jason went to his closet to pick out his clothes for the day. Something stylish but also somewhat classy, but also something that gave off vibes from all the sports he played and also reflected a bit of his intelligence... too many requirements for just one outfit, but Jason knew what he wanted.

A few minutes later he came out of his room with his outfit on and his backpack on his back, going down to the kitchen to greet his parents and little brother, eating some breakfast so he wouldn't go into college on an empty stomach. His father talked about the usual stuff; 'Focus on the test, good luck in practice, be the best' blah blah blah. These were all things that Jason already had engraved in his brain.

After breakfast and a little family talk, Jason got in his car and drove to college, along the way listening to 'Guys Don't Like Me' from It Boys!, starting the morning with some good music. Not that he really related to the lyrics, he was gay anyway... and if he put his boyfriend in the lyrics as if to change the meaning, it didn't work either, since he was much better and more popular than his boyfriend.

The cold wind hit his face and hands as he left his car in the college parking lot, making his skin crawl. He quickly shoved his hands into the pockets of his sports jacket, making his way into the college and the warmth inside. Inside, obviously everyone around and nearby began to greet Jason as if he were a celebrity, feeding his ego with all kinds of flavors. He continued his way down the hallway, several girls shyly trying to approach him.

When Jason stopped at his locker, several girls approached him trying to get his number or at least flirt with him. Jason was gay and he knew it, but he loved the attention and giving false hope to foolish, hopeful girls. He smirked smugly as he watched all the girls surrounding him and begging for a little bit of his gaze.

As usual, Jason forgot that he was supposed to go see his boyfriend, but the attention was distracting and alluring... his boyfriend could wait, it's not like it was that important to be with someone Jason could easily shadow anyway. I mean, he loved his boyfriend, but having a little attention from others wasn't a bad thing, was it?
