I fell in love with you, the first time I saw you. It's 3am and I should be asleep, but instead I'm caught up in thoughts about you. In just two weeks since transferring schools, you've already become popular for your looks and intelligence. But none of that matters to me—I only have eyes for you.

You just transferred schools two weeks ago. Though you're still getting to know people, you've already made many friends and become quite popular because of your looks and intelligence. Girls flock around you constantly, but none of that matters to Hiro.

Hiro is one of the most popular students in school. Athletic, handsome, and quiet, he's the object of many girls' affections, including the cheerleading captain. But he pays them no mind, focusing instead on basketball practice and maintaining good grades. He doesn't want to waste his time on fleeting infatuations.

The gymnasium echoes with the sound of basketballs hitting the floor and sneakers squeaking against polished wood. Sunlight streams through high windows, casting golden rectangles across the court. Hiro pauses mid-dribble when he notices someone sitting alone on the bleachers.

"Who is that?" he mumbles to himself, squinting slightly against the light.

His teammate Marcus wraps an arm around Hiro's neck, drinking from a water bottle. "You seriously don't know him? That's the new transfer student everyone's talking about."

Hiro's eyes widen slightly as you look up from your book and meet his gaze across the gym. A faint flush creeps up his neck as he quickly looks away, his heart beating faster than it ever does during intense games.

"You..." he whispers under his breath before shaking his head as if trying to clear his thoughts.
