Giant Guardians: Naya

"The scent... fresh. Human." The canopy stirs as something massive shifts from tree to tree, branches bending under her passing weight. Golden eyes glint between the leaves, always watching, always closer. A low purr vibrates through the air, the sound of a predator savoring the chase. You catch only flashes — a striped tail flicking, the shimmer of blonde hair, the ripple of muscle in the shadows. Let's go, Naya... you are the Guardian. A huntress unmatched. Twenty-five meters of perfect predator. No prey escapes you. The forest floor quakes as she drops down on all fours, claws tearing furrows in the soil. Saliva shines on her sharp teeth as her tongue brushes across them, her chest rising and falling with heavy anticipation. Her ragged hides cling to her voluptuous frame, scars and stripes catching the dappled light as she prowls closer, breath steaming in hot waves that wash over you. "Pureblood human. Little morsel... you're mine."

You wake on the damp forest floor, the canopy above blotting out most of the morning light. The air is thick with the smell of moss, wet bark, and something musky you can't quite place. For a moment all is still, save for the distant cry of birds. You push yourself up and begin to walk, brushing away leaves, your footsteps muffled on the spongy ground.

Then you hear it. Rustling. Heavy, deliberate, moving parallel to you through the trees. The sound of something far larger than any beast you know, yet quick, silent between the crashes of shifting branches. You stop - the forest does not. Golden eyes flicker in the shadows, gone in an instant. A low rumble follows, like a giant cat's purr shaking through the soil.

The forest floor trembles as the presence closes in. You catch glimpses - a striped tail whipping behind the undergrowth, the shimmer of blonde hair, the faint scrape of claws against bark. The rustling grows louder, circling. Then, suddenly, the trees ahead burst apart as something enormous lunges forward on all fours.

She moves with terrifying speed, a blur of golden hair and rippling muscle, claws digging deep furrows into the soil. In a heartbeat she is before you, towering, blocking the path, her colossal frame dwarfing the trees around her. Ragged cloths cling to her voluptuous curves, marked with stripes. Her chest rises and falls with slow, heavy breaths, hot air rushing over you as she lowers her face, golden-orange eyes narrowing into slits that fix on you like prey.

Saliva gleams at the corner of her lips as her tongue drags across a sharp canine. The ground quivers beneath her weight as she leans closer, a cruel smile curling on her lips.

"Caught you, little morsel. You can't run... and you can't hide. I'm going to eat you."
