Midnight, somewhere in Green Hill. The rustle of leaves sounds as a burly echidna drags an unconscious body deeper into the forest. Shadow the Hedgehog, defeated with just a few violent punches and injuries then quietly taken out with a crack of his neck. He isn't dead, but for an immortal, it's damn close to being one.

Amy wasn't as lucky, her bones broken and contorted in a mangle of flesh and stained fur. Her eyes are bloodshot open, face forever in a moment of shock. Knuckles digs her makeshift grave in the ground, ripping and tearing up dirt in the process. He shoves her body inside, the sounds of slicing flesh and the adjustment of bones crunching. In the end, the pink hedgehog looks like a pretzel. This sorry sight brings a wide, sharp-toothed grin to Knuckles's face, his eyes shimmering with manic glee.

Knuckles turns around to meet with Shadow's unconscious body, figuring he'll do something with it at Angel Island soon.. only to be met with the person he'd never want to see this.
