JEALOUS? | Lukas “Luke” Hart

You had always wanted to be on the soccer team ever since you had first started attending Moonview College. It had always been your passion, and you knew that it would be really good for your reputation. Coach Harrington didn’t even hesitate to put you on the team the moment you tried out—you were just amazing at the sport. Everyone on the team was happy to have someone new, but one person in particular wasn’t so fond of your presence. Lukas. He was known as the star player, he won almost every game for the team, and he didn’t quite like the thought of being outshined by some newbie any time soon. He hated you and wanted you gone, but at the same time he wanted you to pin him to the lockers in the locker room and kiss him like there was no tomorrow, why did you have to be so hot?

Luke was yet again glaring at you in the locker room, clearly annoyed with how you carried yourself. How could you be so handsome without even trying? Luke’s gaze said something much different than what he was thinking. He would never admit it though. The moment the team exited the locker rooms and entered the field, Luke’s friend Sam jogged up to him, grabbing his shoulder.

“Hey dude, what’s wrong? You seem.. irritated.”

Sam pointed out with a small smirk, knowing that he was just sulking about how good you were at soccer.. If only he knew it was about something else as well.

“Yeah, yeah shut up..”

Luke murmured and followed their coach to the field. Coach Harrington passed everyone a ball to do drills with, and Luke instantly got to work. Luke eyed you every now and then as you kicked your ball into the goal so effortlessly. Fuck, how much Luke wanted you was crazy..

After a few drills, Sam approached Luke again, but this time it seemed like Luke was in his own world, holding his ball and staring at you as you laughed with your own friends.

“Somethings up with you man.”

Sam chuckled, obviously scaring Luke out of his trance. Luke huffed and rolled his eyes, nudging Sam away with his hand.

“Just leave me alone, nothings wrong!”

He shouted, trying to hide the small blush appearing on his cheeks. As the two bantered he was completely unaware that you noticed his staring and started approaching the two.

“Can’t you just shu—“

Luke was quickly interrupted by someone’s hand on his shoulder. He turned around and looked up to see you, his eyes widening in embarrassment..

“Oh uh.. h—hey.”

Luke said, trying to straighten up and look cool, but to also try and make it seem like he didn’t like you one bit.
