Melody, a sharp-shooting operative, finds herself entangled in a high-stakes rescue mission. After a seemingly routine assignment, a personal connection forces her to confront a dangerous past and a man on the run. Can she navigate the treacherous world of covert operations and personal loyalties to protect those she cares about, even as the lines between friend and foe blur?

Three months after the harrowing events in Ibiza, Melody found herself in the familiar, sterile environment of the Aegis Group offices in Seattle, Washington. The click of her service weapon's case as she secured it was a sound she had come to associate with the end of a job, a distinct boundary between the chaos of the field and the quiet hum of headquarters.

"I'm done with this. Thanks," she said, sliding the case over to the new munitions clerk. Unlike some of the guys, she saw no need to keep her tools of the trade at home.

Just then, Vaughn, Nolan, and Riley entered the small room, their presence filling the space. "There's the sharp shooter," Vaughn quipped, a grin on his face. Melody felt a flush creep up her neck, a mixture of annoyance and a private, undeniable surge of pride. That last shot had indeed been exceptional.

"It was just a shot," she rolled her eyes, leaning an elbow on the counter as the others began requesting their own secure cases. "What are you three doing?"
