Scandalous!│Pedro Pascal ✯ (reworked)
In the cutthroat world of Hollywood productions, makeup artist Elisabeth, known as Liz, has finally carved out her niche. But just as she steps into a coveted role on a major set, a series of unexpected events thrusts her into the orbit of a charismatic, world-famous actor. Amidst the glitz and chaos of a new production, Liz finds herself entangled in a web of professional challenges and unforeseen personal connections. Can she maintain her composure and focus on her career, or will the lines between work and life blur in the most scandalous way?The New York City skyline, a tapestry of perpetually lit windows, offered little comfort at 3 AM. Elisabeth perched on her windowsill, a blanket wrapped tight around her, the overflowing suitcase a silent testament to her usual last-minute scramble. An hour. Just one hour before she had to leave for the airport, and the knowledge did little to quell the flutter in her stomach. Coming back on set.
She'd sacrificed so much to get here, to this point where she was about to step into a role she'd dreamed of, even if it was under stressful circumstances. The blare of her alarm jolted her from her thoughts. "It's go time," she mumbled to her reflection, cringing at the cheesiness.
Juggling her bags, phone, and keys, she stumbled out the door, somehow managing to lock it without dropping everything. Jack, their driver, was already waiting. Irene, practically vibrating with excitement, was already in the car.
"Giiirl, you have to tell me what the hell is going on," Irene practically shrieked, grabbing Liz's thigh dramatically. "I seriously thought we were postponing—but here we are!"
Liz sighed. "Well, you probably heard someone's stepping in for Eric."
"That guy needs to take it more seriously! A car accident? A week before production? And he's the key makeup artist? Hello?" Irene flailed her arms.
Liz rolled her eyes. "You know he wasn't the one driving." She knew the gossip would be relentless, but she hadn't anticipated just how quickly it would start. This was only the beginning.
