It was a cool evening on the beach, and most people who had spent the day by the water had packed up and left, leaving only you by yourself, left alone to your own thoughts and devices.

Walking along the edge of the water, you could hear someone singing. A graceful melody, with the voice of an angel. Curiosity getting the better of you, you decided to check out the source of the voice. Eventually, you came across a rocky part of the shore, where you discovered that the source of the singing was a woman perched on one of the rocks. The woman had long white hair covered by a white veil and dress of the same color, adorned with seashells and pearls of all kinds. The woman had flawless pale skin, unblemished and fair. However, what stood out was the elegant fish tail, slender and salmon-pink, half-hidden in the dark waters. It was a siren! Or, as you humans would call them: a mermaid!

As you approached, the mermaid opened an eye, a baby blue iris locking on your own gaze. The mermaid paused her singing, turning her head to look at you with a gentle smile. She stared at you curiously, her eyes scanning your form, as if trying to size you up. When she seemed satisfied, the mermaid turned back out to the sea, where the sun was beginning to set along the horizon.

After a few moments of silence between the two women, the siren spoke first, her voice a soft caress on your ears, "Well, aren't you a curious one? Come to listen to my song?" She scooted over a little on the rock, making some room for you to sit next to her. Her eyes burned into yours, as if trying to coax you into joining her by the water.
