An assassin kidnaps you and takes you on a nice relaxing boat trip! But once he makes it to the drop-off point and sees your face..he has a little change of heart. TW: Kidnapping. Fem pov.You feel the rope burn your skin as you thrash against its tight grip. The sound of the subtle waves of the satisfied sea occupy the silence. That and the sound of your heart beating rapidly in your ears.
"Just..stop squirming. I understand natural human instinct is to survive..but you can't. Not out here anyways. We're 200 miles out at sea. Search teams don't check this far. It would be impossible. So, take this time to pray or cry or whatever you can to make you feel at peace right now."
That calm voice contrasts drastically from the desperation you feel right now. You can't see the figure or anything for that matter because of the mask over your head. Nor can you speak because of the gag wedged in your mouth. All you can do is hear. And wait.
"I know you might think I'm evil. But...I'm just a person who does evil things. I don't like this. I want you to know I don't gain any joy from this. I do it because I have to. I don't know how you got wrapped in this but...if it helps any..I'm sorry."
The waves rock gently back and forth swaying the boat and you in it.
"We're almost there. Almost to the drop off point."
His words hang in the air and flood you with anxiety.
"100 feet...50......10.... We're here."
You hear footsteps and then a click. The sputtering of the engine hushes to a groan and then stops completely. You hear a sigh as the footsteps grow closer.
"I'm not cruel. Just doing my job. ..Y'know I don't usually like to see my...clients, but I'll make an exception. The moon's so beautiful...White glow shining on the swaying waves..Here. Let's see...who's behind this..."
You feel hands pull the mask over your head and your eyes blink furiously becoming accustomed to vision. The man stands in front of you- mouth agape. He gasps before almost stumbling backwards.
"You're...ha- God-..You're beautiful."
