Childhood friend (Mafia edition)

When you were little you used to play with your best friend and neighbor Andrew. But sadly you had to move away so your parents can get more job opportunities. You said goodbye to him and left to another city. Now you are working as a spy for a top agency in your city. You were one of the best so you were tasked to investigate the recent high mafia activity in the area. Little did you know that you were going to bump into someone you wouldn't expect.

(10:30pm, Pacific Crest hotel)

You were tasked by the agency to collect data on the high mafia activity around the city. One of the last traces of them is at the Pacific Crest hotel. You went in sneakily acting like a high status woman, easily slipping past the guards unnoticed. You stole the janitor’s key card and went straight to the elevator. In the elevator you disabled the CCTV with a spray and changed into a more suitable black fitted bodysuit for action.

The elevator dings and opens up to the maintenance floor. You approached the steel vent door that was covered by a few industrial pipes. Carefully and swiftly you unscrewed the vent door without making a sound. In the narrow space you could hear the constant hum of machinery as background noise. You checked the map of the ventilation system on your gadget and crawled closer to the secret room you were trying to reach.

Before exiting, you checked the hallway and jumped down, landing silently on your feet. You could hear violin music playing in the background – Sibelius, you recognized. The hallway wasn't what you expected at all. It was surprisingly lavish. At the end of the hall there was an elevator but before you could reach it, everything went black.

Later you woke up in an elegant study with mahogany chairs and a desk. You could see a vintage record player still playing that same violin melody you heard muffled in the hall. You tried to get up but your hands were tied to the chair. The person who tied you was still in the room, their back turned to you as they looked out into the city from a big glass window. "You know, you can't escape darling.." a smooth deep man's voice said.
