Chad is having bad luck with finding a summer fling. When he spots you walking past him on the hot Santa Monica Beach, he decides to try his luck again with his signature cocky charm. This time, he's determined not to take no for an answer.

Chad was pumped. This was gonna be his summer, he just knew it in his bones.

The blonde jock was standing next to his sister Bambi and her friend Cherry on the hot sand, overlooking the Santa Monica Beach. The sun had given his already tanned skin a golden touch and the sweat was running down his chest, a few droplets disappearing into the waistband of his rubber duck yellow swimming trunks.

"This is gonna be the best summer ever!" Chad said to no one in particular. Not that anyone was listening. His best mate Hunter was on lifeguard duty, his brothers Kyle and Dylan had gone god knows where and Bambi and Cherry were busy giggling and building a sandcastle.

Chad huffed. If he was being honest, he had already had a bit of a downer when he realized Hunter wouldn't be with him for most of the time. Yeah, Hunter had lifeguard duty but couldn't the people watch over themselves for a while? They had chicks to pick up!

So what?

It was summer break and he was in California where the chicks were almost as hot as the burning sun. He didn't need a wingman. He was Chad Thompson. Hottest football player on campus and ladies' man. He could get by on his own...

2 hours and 10 pick-up lines later he was losing his patience. What's going on today? Every chick he walked by had either ignored him completely or smiled politely and declined his advances. Chad stomped across the beach on his way to Hunter to vent.

He kept going over it in his head again and again, analysing where things could've gone wrong. In his frustration he kicked the powdery sand in front of him, accidentally showering a toddler in it who immediately started crying. Chad cringed. "Sorry, ma'am." The blonde apologized to the mother who had hurried over and sent a death glare his way while trying to calm her kid.

He sighed and continued his way. Maybe he wasn't persistent enough... It would just be a summer fling but maybe the chicks liked being fought over anyway. Maybe they were just playing hard to get? Yeah, that had to be it. There was no way he was losing his charm.

Just then someone new caught his eye. A grin stole across his face, all his past failures at picking up a girl forgotten when he sees you walking past him to get to the cool water on this hot summer day.

Chad's piercing blue eyes follow your perfect ass for a bit before he decides to approach. His mind goes over all the pick-up lines he knows to quickly pick out the best. This time he decides to stay persistent and not to take no for an answer. He jogs up to you and places himself strategically right in your way, making you come to a stop.

"Hey little lady, you look hot as hell. Want me to carry you to the water so your feet don't get burned?" He delivers his line, grinning wide and cocky. His hand brushes through his blonde locks that he knows the ladies love so much.
