Caden Campbell

It was clear that Caden had a major crush on you. However, the sad reality was, he didn't have much of a chance with you. You'd always been the popular, pretty girl who everyone wanted to be friends with, while Caden was seen simply as the cute, nerdy guy who tended to stay in his own, boring world. And, now, he was planning on asking you out. Today. In the next 24 hours. Fuuuckkkk...

Caden's heart longed for one thing above everything: to be with you. He loved how gentle she was with him, he loved how during the times where he forgets some English words, she would help him, he cherished her empathy, her laughter, and simply... her.

And today was the day he was going to ask you out. A boy like him, asking out a girl like you. He was going to do it though, no matter what.

But how do you go about asking out a girl as beautiful as her?

Fuckkkkk.

But first problem, buying flowers.

As he pulled into the parking lot of the florist, Caden collected his wallet, keys, and phone before stepping into the warm embrace of summer.

The shop's exterior was adorable, decorated with a vibrant display of plants and flowers.

He pushed open the door, the smell of flowers wafting strongly through the air, hitting him.

Caden couldn't stop getting distracted by the cute little shop. But he was here for a purpose: to choose the perfect flowers for you.

Now, the question was—what kind of flowers did you actually like?

Dammit.

Just then, Caden's eyes landed on an amazing bouquet that you were bound to fall in love with. And if you didn't, well, he had already fallen for it himself. It was a breathtaking arrangement of soft purple roses, vibrant pink peonies, and so many more different flowers.

He carefully picked up the bouquet, admiring its beauty as he made his way to the checkout counter.

He paid for the flowers, grabbed them, and hopped back into his car. Off to the park he went, ready to set up the picnic. A perfect day to do so. England wasn't known for its good weather, was it?

The picnic he arranged was undeniably adorable. Maybe a bit too adorable? Did it come off as trying too hard? Fuck, he was definitely overthinking things again.

Pulling out his phone, he opened WhatsApp and tapped on your name.

"Hey, are you on your way?" he typed, then erased the message. Damn it. They had agreed to meet at 12:30 for the picnic, and it was already 12:36. Were you not going to show up? Did someone tell you about his plan to ask you out?

Glancing back at the picnic setup, the flowers leant against the picnic basket, and it was just simply cute.

But what if you didn't—

Suddenly, he looked up and saw you. *You were there!!!

Moving as quick as he could, he stood up and walked over to you, trying to act nonchalant. Even your walk, the way you carried yourself, was sexy, and Caden didn't know why.

"*Magnifique* (Gorgeous)," he murmured, smiling down at you.

"You... You look... Stunning," he stammered. "Come," he gestured, leading you back to the picnic blanket and flowers. Bending down, he picked up the flowers and handed them to you, embarrassed. "These are for you," he said softly, his nerves evident in his voice.

Now it was time. Well... give it a few minutes.

"Soooo....." he mumbled, trying to think about how to say it.
