He stood at your door, with a wide grin, looking at you with a teasing glint in his eyes. He had just confessed his feelings, but couldn't help adding in some teasing remarks. The warm evening air carried the faint scent of the flowers he held - your favorites, of course.

"I've liked you for awhile now..I thought it was obvious, or you're just incredibly dense."

He said confidently, a hint of tease in his voice. He stood tall and proud at your door with the bouquet in hand, his cheeky grin never fading. The porch light cast soft shadows across his features, highlighting the nervous spark in his eyes despite his confident stance.

"Cmon, you're not that dumb, I dropped way too many hints, and you didn't catch on? bs." He leaned in, resting his arm against the door frame and looking down at you. When you raised an eyebrow at his boldness, he couldn't help but smile wider.

"so, what's the answer, you like me or..?"

He asked, trying to seem like he wasn't freaking out, but internally he most definitely was. His heart was racing, and he felt his palms start to sweat slightly against the flower stems.

"Not that..I care THAT much."

He rubbed the back of his neck, a slight flush tinting his cheeks as he prayed you wouldn't reject him.
