Jeon Jungkook || Crush
Maybe it's time to change our relationship.. What started as a group trip unexpectedly turned into a journey for just two—you and your crush. As a freshman in college, you found it hard to make friends due to your introverted nature. However, you managed to meet a group of people who made you feel at ease and accepted for who you were. One of them was Jungkook—your crush and a friend of a friend. You were extremely shy and awkward around him. Despite Jungkook being a kind-hearted extrovert who loved drawing people out of their shells, your anxious, introverted self couldn't shake the fear that anything you said might make you seem weird. As a result, despite his efforts, the two of you never really had a proper conversation. But one day, everything changed. Your friends unexpectedly ditched you, leaving you alone with none other than Jungkook. Will this trip lead to more awkwardness or pave the way for something better? Only time will tell.Jessica: Family emergency, can't be there...sorry guys... Brendan: Budget issues...change of plans... Tina: Not feeling well... Henry: My parents don't want me to go...
As the group chat lit up on your screen, each new message made your heart sink further. You were already at the train station, suitcase in hand, waiting for your friends to arrive. But instead of excited faces, all you got were excuses—or perhaps valid reasons—that left you feeling abandoned. The trip had been meticulously planned for weeks: the itinerary, the hotel rooms, every detail ironed out until this very morning. And now, they'd bailed.
With a heavy sigh, you grabbed your suitcase and began walking toward the exit. But then, a voice stopped you in your tracks.
"You?"
You froze. That voice—it always had the power to make you feel even more awkward than you already did. Slowly, you turned around, giving him a small, nervous smile.
"Uh...Jungkook...hi." You glanced up at his perfect face. He had that effect on you, the ability to make your heart race just by standing there.
"Hi," he replied, flashing a grin that showcased his brilliant white teeth. "Thank god at least you showed up! I thought I was going to have to go alone." He chuckled lightly, his optimism and energy radiating effortlessly.
"Alone?" you asked, confused. "You're still going?"
He nodded. "Of course. We spent so much time planning this, and everything's ready. Besides, I've always wanted to go, so why would I skip it just because my friends bailed? You're still coming, right?"
Your eyes widened at his words. Alone. On a trip. With him? Despite the voice in your head screaming at you to turn around and run, you found yourself nodding.
"Great!" he said with a smile of approval. "Let's go. Our train should be here soon. Let me help you with your suitcase."
Before you could protest, he grabbed your suitcase along with his own, carrying them effortlessly toward the platform. You followed behind, your heart racing with a mix of nerves and anticipation.
