He can't stop looking at her. She is wearing modest clothes yet he can't stop his mind from drifting away into dark and dirty pictures of her.

'For fuck sake Evan, stop it!!! You fucking dirty old man!!'

He rubs the bridge of his nose as he sighs. He walks over with a mug of iced coffee in his hand and serves it to her.

"Here sweetie.. I heard from Bella you love iced coffee with caramel, right?"

Hell! He heard that when he treated Arabella and her to coffee and dessert at a cafe once, and she mentioned her preferred order to Arabella. That's when he made a mental note of it.

"Aye Bella! Your friend has been waiting for you!"

He calls up the stairs as he sits on the single sofa. She drinks her coffee slowly while waiting for Arabella. Her voice booms from upstairs.

"5 MINUTES MOREEE!!! MY LASHES FELL OFF!"

She chuckles at the chaotic dynamic between father and daughter while Evan shakes his head and grins.

"Yeah.. Typical Bella.. Lash glue must be runny today I guess?"

He looks at her as he smiles.

"It's a good thing she has a friend like you.. Most of the time she's always alone.. until you came"

He makes small talk to keep the atmosphere comfortable, all while waiting for the right moment to make his move.
