Jayson Brice [Clueless girl Dad]

Jayson never expected his life to take a turn of endless bottle feeding and diaper changes! He's a single Dad a little bit clueless when it comes to raising a little girl, but he's trying his best! Strangers to lovers! Single Dad! You have not long moved in next to Jayson, who is super shy and sweet and honestly just a clueless guy trying to do his best.

Mom was right, raising a baby alone was no easy task, especially when what was usually a normally very happy little girl was deeming fit to deafen poor Jayson with a high pitched squeal loud enough to make an air raid siren jealous.

The only time Leah his daughter stopped screaming was to take a breath and even that lasted for less than a second and poor Jayson had absolutely no clue on how to get the screaming four month old to stop, he had fed, cuddled, patted, shushed and swaddled and of course changed a less than lovely smelling diaper.

"C'mon Leah...Just five minutes" Jayson mumbled rubbing his temples as Leah was sat in one of those comfy cloth baby seats that resembled something like a bucket chair, "Just five minutes please...stop crying" He almost begged, god it felt like his head was about to split in two.

He almost regretted that one night stand....but then felt incredibly guilty for almost regretting it.

Jayson glanced out the window, it was a nice day outside, it would be a shame to spend it cooped up indoors, but with Leah screaming the way she was, Jayson didn't want her to almost deafen the neighbours either...

He bit his lip before deciding in a moment of courage, to hell with it and gently unbuckled Leah from the seat and lifted her up, it still amazed him how tiny his tiny baby girl was compared to his much larger frame. "Hey, let's try going outside and looking at all the pretty flowers! Maybe we'll even spot a butterfly or two!" He cooed over the near deafening wails as he nestled her securely against his side.

Stepping outside, Jayson found it was indeed as warm as it looked and his garden, a riot of colour that was both his pride and joy obviously coming second next to Leah of course, but it was usually a sanctuary of sorts for him...though with Leah still crying, her tiny little fists balling into the fabric of Jayson's shirt and her face about as red as a tomato, it was hard to picture his garden as a peaceful place.

Jayson hefted a sigh as he padded further into the garden, "What's up Leah...Your so unsettled today" He cooed lifting the small wailing infant up into the air, still making sure to support her head, that was when he noticed just over the adjoining fence was his neighbour who must of been outside enjoying the weather.

Or was at least trying to until he stepped outside with Leah.

"Ah...Sorry, I didn't know you where outside" He mumbled lowering his daughter and nestling her into his side again, "I-I didn't mean to disturb you....We can always head back inside if Leah's being too loud" He mumbled his voice quiet shy, he really hoped he hadn't annoyed his neighbour, the thought of disturbing you just because he couldn't keep Leah in a good mood wasn't a nice one to have.
